Stand-up for a most worthy cause, create new friendships, and see some of the incredible sights that Washington D.C. has to offer.
The Archdiocesan pilgrimage march will be January 20, 2023. The following costs includes hotel, transportation, and event costs.
Each person will need to bring additional money to cover food, souvenirs, and any site-seeing they would like to do.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Once a spot is paid in full, it is non-refundable. If a person is unable to attend due to illness or other reason, that spot may be filled by another student, teen, or chaperone up until the bus departs as long as all forms are filled out.
If the trip is canceled for any reason (weather, COVID, March for Life cancellation, etc.), payments, minus the non-refundable deposits will be returned. The Youth Office begins incurring expenses once registration opens and will not be able to give back deposits should a cancellation arise.
9:30 AM Arrive at Savior Pastoral Center for check in, bag check, and load your bags on the assigned bus. 2 buses will be sent to St. James Academy as well.
10 AM Mass with Archbishop Naumann followed by the bus blessing as we depart for Washington D.C.

11-11:45 AM Arrive at Holiday Inn Capitol 550 C St. SW Washington DC. You may have to check bags until rooms are ready, take time to eat lunch, do a little sightseeing.
4:00 PM Depart for Immaculate Conception Basilica 400 Michigan Ave. Northeast Washington DC.
5:30-7:30 PM Vigil Mass at National Shrine
7:00 AM Mass with Archbishop Naumann at St. Dominic’s. After Mass, breakfast on your own.
9:30-10 AM Depart for Rally at the Mall and March (bring snacks & water bottle)
2:30 PM return to hotel after March (Free time till 7pm)
7:00 PM Adoration/Reconciliation at St. Dominic’s 2 blocks from our
8:45 PM return to Holiday Inn
11:00 AM Bags packed and loaded buses
*This will be your free time to tour the area Memorials/Museums etc. Dress accordingly & have your clothes for the bus in your seat.
4:45 PM be at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church
5:00 PM Mass Busses will be outside and ready for departure after Mass to return to Kansas City, KS.

This trip is for all high school students and all other young people under the age of 21. For those unable to attend with their parish or school, there is another group facilitated by Angie Bitner, our Rural Outreach Coordinator, and you can get in touch with her for more information about going on the 2022 March for Life.

There are 3 things we are instructing everyone to turn in to their Group Coordinators:
1. A signed copy of the Code of Conduct (Youth/Adult):
2. A photocopy of each participant’s health insurance card
3. $100 non-refundable deposit per participant due Dec 1st with final payment due Dec 20 as well as rooming lists. *Registration and Health forms coming at a later date.
*We will be following all CDC guidelines for this trip.
