We are the prolife generation

2024 March for Life Details

The March for Life brings together women, men and children across the nation in a peaceful, vibrant and joyful rally. Tens of thousands of pro-lifers march up Capitol Hill every year on the anniversary of the Supreme Court ruling in 1973 Roe V. Wade which legalized abortion across all 50 states.

Even though Roe v. Wade has been overturned and allows states more freedom to pass pro-life legislation, the work of building a culture of Life in the United States of America remains. We have not adjusted our focus. In a post-Roe America, abortions are expected to drop by only 200,000 per year. There are many national legislative battles ahead, including the long-standing Hyde protections that limit government funding of abortion in annual appropriation measures.

The Hyde Amendment, which has saved more than 2 million lives to date, is the most important pro-life policy currently available in our nation. But it cannot be taken as a given. Our most important task is to change hearts and minds. The National March for Life aims to change not only laws on a state and federal basis, but also the culture in order to make abortions unthinkable.

This year, the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas delegation will be traveling by plane instead of bus. This decision was made in consideration of cost, availability and safety.

The Archdiocesan pilgrimage march will be Wednesday, January 17th – Saturday, January 20th of 2024.

The following costs includes hotel, transportation, and event costs.

  • Four people to a room: $435.00
  • Three people to a room: $455.00
  • Two people to a room: $535.00
  • One person to a room: $735.00

Each person will need to bring additional money to cover food, souvenirs, and any site-seeing they would like to do.

Deposits are non-refundable.

Once a spot is paid in full, it is non-refundable. If a person is unable to attend due to illness or other reason, that spot may be filled by another student, teen, or chaperone up until the bus departs as long as all forms are filled out.

If the trip is canceled for any reason (weather, COVID, March for Life cancellation, etc.), payments, minus the non-refundable deposits will be returned. The Youth Office begins incurring expenses once registration opens and will not be able to give back deposits should a cancellation arise.
