    1) Evangelium Vitae – the “Gospel of Life”, Saint Pope John Paul II, 1995 – Click Here

If there is one single Church teaching document that best describes what it means to be “pro-life”, the Gospel of Life is it. The Gospel of Life sets forth a compelling Catholic vision of life based on the dignity of the human person, made in the image and likeness of God. It also speaks frankly about the very real threats to human dignity in our modern world and concludes with a stirring call to become “people of life.”

    2) Humanae Vitae – Click Here

The papal encyclical, Humanae vitae (HV) written by Pope St. Paul VI in 1968, provides beautiful and clear teaching about God’s plan for married love and the transmission of life.

      6) Bible Quotes

          • Genesis 1:28 – “And God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fertile and multiply” (The very first commandment!)

          • Psalm 127:3 – “Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth.  Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them.”

          • Matthew 19:18 – “He said to him, “Which?” And Jesus said, “You shall not kill, you shall not commit adultery…” (The sin of murder is the first among the commandments mentioned by Christ to resist.  Life is valued)

          • John 10:10 – “I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.”

          • Psalm 139:13,15 – “For thou didst form my inward parts, thou didst knit me together in my mother’s womb.” (God forms the child before birth, before the human mind even knows or senses a change)
          • Jeremiah 1:5 – “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you.” (God’s words to Jeremiah apply to all mankind.  He knew us, formed us and consecrates us as his own.  He values LIFE!)
