You are now halfway through aspirancy. It is still very early in the process, but the end of the formation year is an appropriate time to check in to see how formation is going for both of you. The questions I am about to ask are derived from the Standards for Readiness for Admission to Candidacy found in your Aspirancy Manual, which you were asked to reflect upon in preparation for this meeting.

Husband (a): What has been the most significant change in your prayer life since beginning formation?(Required)

Wife: What change, if any, have you noticed in your husband over the past year that you attribute to his prayer life?(Required)

Husband (b): We have thrown several things at you this year: LOTH, plan of life, spiritual direction, frequent reception of sacraments, daily meditation, virtue development, etc., some of which may be relatively new to you. What do you see as your greatest area for growth this coming year?(Required)

Marriage and Family

Wife (a): Has your husband been emotionally present to you and your family this past year? Explain.(Required)

Husband: How do you feel that you have done in integrating formation with your family life and other responsibilities and commitments?(Required)

Wife (b): Has formation been positive for your marriage and family?(Required)

Diaconate
