PUBLIC MASSES:

From the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas: the dispensation has been lifted on June 5-6, 2021 — the weekend of the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ.

What does that mean? Everyone should start coming to Mass again on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation. It becomes a sin if you don’t.

Are there any exceptions? Yes, people who have underlying health concerns, compromised immunity, or genuinely serious concerns about the risk of getting the coronavirus are not bound by the obligation to attend Mass.

What if you don’t go to Mass because of any of those reasons listed above? You should still obey the Third Commandment and keep Sunday holy by watching Mass online; reading the Readings for that day; avoid unnecessary work and unnecessary shopping; and spend time in prayer, leisure, and rest with your families and loved ones.

INTERPRETED MASS SCHEDULE

  • No interpreted Mass on the 2nd Sunday of the month due to Deaf Mass.
