Grounded Catholic is a grassroots movement dedicated to renewing the Catholic Church in Kansas City through authentic formation, deep spiritual encounter, and vibrant community. Founded by Carrie and Chad Pirotte, Grounded Catholic offers a variety of programs designed to help individuals and families grow in their faith and live it out in everyday life.
What We Offer: Men’s Formation Groups. Weekly gatherings for men to engage in Scripture-based talks and discussions, fostering growth as husbands, fathers, and leaders. Encounter Events: In-person events designed to help individuals encounter God in a deeper, more personal way. Resources for new Catholics & Beyond: Blog posts and podcast that support new Catholics and bridge Catholic & Evangelical perspectives.
Our Mission: We believe that true renewal begins when individuals encounter the living God in transformative ways. Grounded Catholic is our response to that calling, aiming to spark fresh fires of faith in both parishes and personal lives.
