2026 Listening with the Heartland site

To promote broad participation, hosting sites ought to be conveniently situated—preferably along major highways, easily accessible, and well-distributed throughout the archdiocese. They can be parish sites, other community centers (libraries, civic organizations, etc.), or places where people with restricted mobility (the elderly, the incarcerated, people in isolated areas) can gather.

Each deanery is asked to identify two to eight locations, depending upon the deanery’s capacity, with at least one location not at a parish.

Host sites will need to provide:

  • Equipment to display a video featuring Archbishop McKnight
  • Accommodations to seat people in groups of 10 or less (chairs required, tables optional)
  • Audio system for the lead facilitator to address the entire group
  • Name tags for all, pens and paper for recorders are requested
  • Signage both outside and in the building is recommended
  • Hospitality is not required, but of course welcomed
This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.
