Celebrating your 50th wedding anniversary in 2025?

 

Archbishop Naumann wants to personally invite you to a mass of celebration on June 1, 2025 at 2 pm!

To request your invitation, please submit your name to your parish office OR contact the Office of Marriage and Family Life at (913) 647-0345 or MFLadmin@archkck.org.

Requests to attend the mass will be collected as early as January 1, 2025 and invitations will be sent out around the beginning of April.

Once you receive your invitation in the mail please RSVP to the Office of Marriage & Family Life at (913) 647-0345 or MFLadmin@archkck.org and confirm the spelling of your name, your anniversary date, as well as how many people will be attending.

The Mass will be celebrated at The Church of the Nativity in Leawood with a small reception to follow including the distribution of certificates commemorating the special occasion. An opportunity to take a picture with Archbishop Nauman will also be provided and photos will be ordered and mailed to the couples homes within the following weeks.

How to Get your Anniversary Announcement in the Leaven

 

Policy:  The couple must be parishioners in the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas.

Deadline: 10 days before the desired publication date

Include the Following: The couple’s names; their parish; the date they were married; church and city where they were married; what they are doing to celebrate; date of the celebration; names of children (no spouses); number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Photo: High quality, size does not matter

Parishes Collecting Names of Jubilarians 
 

You may begin collecting names and information from your parishioners interested in attending the 50th Wedding Anniversary in 2025. The form for collecting those can be found here:

50th Wedding Anniversary Parish Document- 2025

Please fill this out and email/mail this back to the Office of Marriage and Family life as soon as possible. We will be accepting names until May 1st, 2025. 

Please also review your parish records for couples married 50 years (married in 1975) and send names as well.
