Are you celebrating your 50th wedding anniversary in 2026?
Archbishop Shawn McKnight wants to personally invite you to a Mass of celebration on June 7, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
We hope you can join us for this special occasion, and we thank you for your witness to faithful love!
The Mass will be celebrated at The Church of the Nativity in Leawood with a small reception to follow including the distribution of certificates commemorating the special occasion. You will be able to take a photo with Archbishop McKnight and photos will be ordered and mailed to you.

We need the following information:
1) The spelling of your names
2) Your anniversary date
3) Confirm how many people in your family are attending
PHASE 4 [Late June/Early July]
Photos with Archbishop McKnight will be mailed out.
How to Get your Anniversary Announcement in the Leaven
Policy: The Leaven prints 50, 60, 65 and 70th anniversary notices. They are for parishioners in the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas.
Deadline: 10 days (Thursday) before the desired publication date
Include the following:
• The couple’s names
• their parish
• the date they were married
• church and city where they were married
• what they are doing to celebrate
• date of the celebration
• names of children (no spouses)
• number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Submission guidelines:
• Announcements must be emailed.
• Emailed photos need to be 200 dpi.

Parishes Collecting Names of Jubilarians
You may begin collecting names and information from your parishioners interested in attending the 50th Wedding Anniversary in 2026. The link to the google form shown below.
Please fill the form out for each couple as soon as possible. We will be accepting names until May 1st, 2026.
Please also review your parish records for couples married 50 years (married in 1976) and enter those names as well.
