At Christ’s Peace House of Prayer, guests have the option of choosing from four different styles of accommodations: Cabins, Hermitages, Courtyard Rooms and Guest Rooms. 

We have 18 individual spaces for guests – 6 cabins – 2 hermitages – 3 courtyard rooms – 4 guest rooms – 3 overflow guest rooms. If married couples are sharing the cabins and courtyard rooms then we can accommodate a total of 28 people. Cabins (6 total): 
Nestled within the serene woods, our cabins offer a peaceful retreat just a brief five-minute walk from the main building. Each cabin is thoughtfully equipped with essential amenities, including a comfortable double bed, cozy sitting area, ample closet space, and a dining table.

Additionally, you’ll find a full bathroom for your convenience, complete with a well-appointed kitchen area featuring a refrigerator, stove, toaster, and coffee maker (please note, there is no microwave oven).

Step outside onto your private deck to soak in the tranquil surroundings and find a serene space for reflection and prayer. Inside, you’ll discover a dedicated study area equipped with a desk, providing a quiet sanctuary for contemplation and spiritual growth.

Unwind on the screened-in porch, surrounded by nature’s beauty, as you delve into your spiritual journey.  Rest assured, heating and air conditioning are in place to provide a comfortable environment that fosters focused study and prayer throughout your stay.

Peaceful Refuge Cabins:  Bittersweet – Woodbine – Evergreen
Nestled along the tranquil path leading to the picturesque pond, our Peaceful Refuge Cabins offer a serene escape amidst nature’s embrace. Each cabin provides a sanctuary of solitude and tranquility, inviting guests to unwind and reconnect with the Lord.

Indulge in the gentle rustle of leaves and the soothing melody of birdsong as you stroll down to the pond, where reflective moments await. Our cabins serve as havens of peace and quiet, where you can retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in the beauty of the surroundings.

Experience the restorative power of nature as you relax on your private deck, savoring the serenity of the forest and the calming presence of the pond nearby. Whether you seek solace for contemplation or simply wish to bask in the stillness of the wilderness, our Peaceful Refuge Cabins offer the perfect setting for quiet reflection and rejuvenation.

Family Retreat Cabin:  Morning Star 
Morning Star Cabin offers slightly more space compared to our Peaceful Refuge Cabins, making it an ideal choice for small family retreats. Situated closest to the main building, it conveniently resides just south of the west parking lot. Guests with physical limitations are encouraged to request this cabin in the notes section of the reservation form. This cabin features a full bed and a twin sleeper sofa, making it perfect for a sibling’s retreat or for parents and a child to comfortably share. Please note that for the comfort and privacy of all our guests, our accommodations may only be shared by family members.

Sabbatical Cabins:  Meadowlark – Stone Creek
Sabbatical Cabins offer a spacious retreat experience with two distinct rooms. Each cabin consists of a comfortable sitting area/kitchen and a separate bedroom, providing ample space for reflection and relaxation. Nestled within the serene surroundings of our retreat center, these cabins offer a tranquil environment conducive to spiritual renewal and contemplation. Perfect for individuals seeking a sabbatical or extended period of reflection, our Sabbatical Guest Cabins provide the ideal setting for a peaceful getaway.

Meadowlark Sabbatical Cabin:  This cabin has a washer and dryer for those on extended sabbaticals. We also have a washer and dryer in the main building for extended-stay guests.

Stone Creek Sabbatical Cabin:

Courtyard Rooms (3 total):
Located within the heart of our main building, our courtyard rooms offer a cozy and convenient retreat for guests seeking comfort and accessibility. Each room is meticulously appointed with a comfortable double bed, inviting sitting area, closet space, and a dining table for added convenience.

Enjoy the modern amenities of a full bathroom, complete with a well-equipped kitchen area featuring a refrigerator, stovetop, toaster, and coffee maker (please note, there is no microwave oven). Step outside onto your private deck, where you can take in the beauty of the natural surroundings.

For guests requiring accessibility accommodations, one of our courtyard rooms is ADA approved, providing ease of access for individuals with disabilities. Situated on the main level of the building and closest to our chapel and community rooms, this room offers added convenience and comfort for handicapped guests.

Situated in a dedicated wing of the main building, our guest rooms offer cozy and convenient accommodation for retreatants seeking comfort, spiritual growth and renewal. Each room is thoughtfully furnished with a comfortable single bed, inviting sitting area, and a writing desk, providing a peaceful space for reflection and study.

Enjoy the convenience of a roomy closet provided in each room, along with a ceiling fan for added comfort during warmer seasons. Stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi available throughout the guest wing, ensuring you remain connected to loved ones and digital resources.  Please note that guests are expected to use headphones with their devices so as not to disturb other guests.

For added comfort, six of our guest rooms are equipped with air conditioning, providing respite from the summer heat. However, please note that communal kitchenette and bathrooms are not air-conditioned. Retreatants staying in the Guest Rooms are encouraged to take meals with Christ’s Peace, as the kitchenette is not fully equipped for cooking meals. However, guests have access to basic amenities including a refrigerator, microwave, water kettle, and coffee maker for their convenience.

In addition to our standard guest rooms, we offer three parlors in the guest wing that can be converted into overflow guest rooms when needed. These parlors provide additional privacy and comfort for guests, with the option to convert into overflow guest rooms equipped with either a Murphy bed or a twin sleeper sofa. When not in use as overflow guest rooms, the parlors are available for all guests to enjoy, providing a quiet space for relaxation and contemplation within the main building.
