Consecration of the United States to the Sacred Heart

Ahead of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Bishops of the United States will consecrate the country to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 11, 2026, a powerful moment of prayer, renewal, and trust in His mercy.

As a nation, we turn to His Heart, seeking healing, guidance, and a deeper commitment to live out His love in our homes and communities. May this consecration draw us closer to Christ and unite us in hope and faith.

Bring His Sacred Heart into your Home

The enthronement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the home is a powerful and time-honored devotion that places Christ at the very center of family life. By consecrating your home to the Sacred Heart, you publicly and prayerfully acknowledge Jesus as your King, inviting his love, mercy, and guidance into your daily lives. This act of entrustment strengthens the “domestic church,” fostering unity, deepening faith, and reminding each member of the call to live in charity, forgiveness, and devotion.

In support of this meaningful devotion, the archdiocese is grateful to receive a donated piece of sacred artwork from local artist Jason Jenicke. His generous gift provides families with a beautiful focal point to aid in their home enthronement, making the Sacred Heart devotion more tangible and accessible within the home.
