Very few of us are Israelite by blood. However, we are all part of the family by the blood of Christ, who drew all things to himself.

Join us in creating ways for gentiles like us to know Christ by supporting our Archbishop’s Call to Share appeal. God treasures even the most minor acts of love. Sometimes, the small light of a star is enough to attract kings!

The Lamb is passing by. Our Archbishop’s Call to Share appeal seeks to tempt the lamb to stay with us awhile. Help us gather what we have to make an attractive dwelling place.

Please contribute to our appeal as you are able. The Lamb will undoubtedly take notice of your tender heart and wish to stay with you, too.

In today’s Gospel story, Jesus honors John the Baptist by taking up his baton of preaching repentance immediately after John’s arrest. John’s disciples, reeling from his incarceration, find their way to Jesus. Please help us help others find the way to Jesus by supporting our Archbishop’s Call to Share appeal. We want them to find him waiting in our tabernacle.

Catechism 1717 says, “The Beatitudes depict the countenance of Jesus Christ.” Today’s Gospel is a portrait of Jesus.

The Beatitudes then also become a list of adjectives that describe a Christian. As beautiful as the poetry of the Beatitudes is, a person fully alive with them is more radiant. Join us in striving to let each of the 8 Beatitudes become true of us through our Archbishop’s Call to Share appeal

The God who created the sun tells us in today’s Gospel, “You are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14).

Just as you are a light, our Archbishop’s Call to Share appeal is a light for all who rely on the ministries of our Church.  Without your support, we can’t reach those who need Christ’s light to see. With your help, we can increase our impact, draw our neighbors into God’s house, and help your local church burn brightly. You’ll shine brightly yourself when you give alms… he promised you would (Matthew 6:22-23). Thank you, on behalf of our neighbors!

God asks a lot of his followers in today’s Gospel. On top of the 613 commandments in Torah, Jesus sets an even higher bar in Matthew 5.

Jesus tasked our parish with a mission to evangelize. With your prayers, generosity, and advocacy, we can help others find the hope we discovered: that while the bar is high, Christ is higher. Support our Archbishop’s Call to Share appeal so we can support our community and reach His bar together!

Our parish and archdiocesan communities are a haven where people can find the strength to face difficulties in their lives. Even when we may feel lost or struggle, may we remember that when we come together with prayers, gifts, and support it gives us the power to make change. The little we have is what God asks of us; nothing more, nothing less. With your help and His combined, we are confident that our Archbishop’s Call to Share appeal will succeed in brightening our community.

Have you ever felt overwhelmed by everything on your plate and you let the challenges compound?

Sometimes Jesus allows us to feel weak to show us how He wishes to be our strength. Fasting during this time helps us experience His strength. This Lent, we ask you to help provide strength to others by supporting our Archbishop’s Call to Share appeal.  Almsgiving is a form of fasting and through it, you can experience Him “filling the gap.” Watch and see. God bless you in advance for your generosity.
