Sunday–Friday Weeks: Arrive 4–5 pm Sunday; dinner at 5:45; depart Friday by noon.
July 8–12 (Wed–Sun): Arrive 5–6 pm Wednesday; dinner at 6 pm; depart after lunch Sunday.
7:30 am: Rosary & Mass
9 am – 3 pm: Worksites (lunch included)
3:30 – 5 pm: Showers, fellowship, rest
5:45 pm: Dinner
6:30 – 9 pm: Collatio (evening retreat program)
9:30 pm: Lights out
Boys and girls sleep separately in parish classrooms, with same-gender chaperones (2 adults per room).
Showers usually off-site (1 per day after worksites).
Teams of 8–10 youth plus at least 2 adult chaperones.
Groups are mixed across parishes and co-ed for worksites and activities.
Evening small groups = by parish/school.
Chaperones may give input on group needs.
Each parish provides its own vehicles for the week. Vans/SUVs recommended. Insurance must meet $100,000/$300,000 minimum liability coverage.
Meals provided: simple breakfasts, sack lunches, and dinners (casseroles, pasta, tacos, etc.).
Snacks: Bring shareable, packaged items (fruit, chips, etc.).
Dietary needs: note on registration form—team will coordinate as able.
Registration covers essentials + free T-shirt.
Optional extras: merch ($5–$20), snacks/drinks during travel, and group treats (often an ice cream stop Thursday).
Service includes painting, yard work, cleaning, moving furniture, small repairs, VBS, and more.
Projects may span the week or be shared between groups.
Evening chaperone meetings provide daily worksite details.
Skilled adults (construction/engineering) are especially helpful!
1 adult per 7 youth (must be 21+, VIRTUS trained).
Both male and female chaperones required if bringing both boys and girls.
Prayer & Action team supports but does not directly chaperone.
All discipline follows signed waivers; mandated reporting handled per Archdiocesan policy.
