Parishioners from the Archdiocese of Kansas City volunteer each week to visit inmates at Johnson and Wyandotte County Detention and Rehabilitation Centers to read scripture and administer the Holy Eucharist.
Read the bible to youth or adults weekly or monthly, depending on your schedule.
We have vetted over 50 inmates who are Benedictine Oblates and have responded with notes of joy from receiving Christmas and Easter cards. You can use a pen name to write at least once a month to a fellow Catholic who longs for spiritual fellowship.
