Our Mission: To bring the word of God and Holy Communion to brothers and sisters in prison.

I was in prison and you visited me.

Parishioners from the Archdiocese of Kansas City volunteer each week to visit those detained in jails and detention centers to read scripture and administer the Holy Eucharist. We also spend time just listening and sharing our faith journeys.

Volunteer

Read the bible to youth or adults weekly or monthly, depending on your schedule.

Spiritual Correspondence

We have vetted over 50 inmates who are Benedictine Oblates and have responded with notes of joy from receiving Christmas and Easter cards.  You can use a pen name to write at least once a month to a fellow Catholic who longs for spiritual fellowship.

For Family and Friends

Learn what to expect after someone you care about has been arrested, and how to cope before, during, and after their sentence.

Reentry for ex-offenders

Get connected with local programs that offer assistance to ex offenders when they return to society.
