W2 CONSIDERATIONS:

The Pension box should be checked for ANY employee or priest who receives a 401k or 403b voluntary, match or base employer contribution, including employees or priests who only receive the base contribution & employees who work less than 20 hours weekly & do only voluntary contributions.

W3 CONSIDERATIONS:

Total Annual Lay 401k & Priest 403b Contributions appear in Box 12 on the W3.  Check to be sure employee total contributions are correct.

After your last payroll has been uploaded into Who’s Where – Run a Who’s Where Report to check that your Who’s Where payroll data is the same as your payroll data.

  • Sort by Employee Type
    • Note any corrections that need to be made – you can make these corrections under the Employee tab
  • Total 401k or 403b contributions & Total Gross Pay for each employee are provided
    • Cross Reference these Totals with your Year to Date Payroll Journal for each employee
