Because of the small number of tickets that the Archdiocese was able to buy in advance, we ask that you keep this link and its details confidential. The prices and the arrangements are preferential for you as an invited guest.
What: 2024 National Eucharistic Congress
Frequency of the Event: First National Eucharistic Congress in 83 Years
Where: Lucas Oil Dome in Indianapolis, Indiana
When: July 17-21, 2024
Why: Scripture says, “I am the living bread come down from heaven, whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.” John 6:51. Jesus’s words are clear here and throughout scripture; he comes to us each day in the Eucharist, but recent surveys say that many Catholics do not believe that Jesus is truly present in the Eucharist. I along with the bishops of the United States am launching a three-year initiative to revive our relationship with Jesus through the Eucharist. Part of this National Eucharistic Revival initiative is a National Eucharistic Congress.
How Many Will Attend: The organizers anticipate selling out the 80,000+ seat dome.
What is the anticipated cost of attending: As an Archdiocese, we were able to reserve a limited number of event passes for $200 each versus the regular individual $375 ticket price, and we are securing an Archdiocesan hotel block in a nice downtown hotel near the stadium and close to quality dining.
Estimated Cost for a Single Attendee | |||
---|---|---|---|
Event Pass | 1 pass | $200/pass | $200 |
Airfare (est.) | 1 ticket | $500/ticket | $500 |
Hotel (est.) | 5 nights | $318/night | $1,590 |
Estimated Total | $2,290 |
What is included with each $200 event pass? The event pass will give you access Wednesday through Sunday to moving liturgies, inspiring music, world class Eucharistic speakers and experiences in the Lucas Oil Dome and the surrounding event venues.
How Many Passes Can I Purchase: Two, one for you and another traveler, if more are desired contact Bill Maloney wmaloney@archkck.org.
Who Will Attend: Cardinals, Archbishops, Bishops, Priests, Sisters, Deacons, Lay Leaders and the Catholic faithful are expected at the congress.
How Do I Get There: Travel is on your own. If traveling by air, book as soon as available, as demand will be high.
What is the Process to Sign Up as a Delegate: We have reserved a limited number of discounted event passes and quality downtown lodging for you (and your spouse) with our Archdiocesan delegation.
If you are interested in joining us, you will need to lock in your tickets and lodging by logging into to purchase your discounted event passes.
Our hotel rooms will be secured by calling our reserved hotel to hold your room under your credit card and using our access code. We will provide your access code given after we have received the lodging details from the national office.
Because of the limited quantity of these event passes, they are available on a first come basis, and we are required to return our unclaimed event passes by June 1, 2023. We will have this opportunity, March through May, or until our Archdiocesan block passes are all purchased. On June 1, we will return any unclaimed passes, as they become non-refundable after that date.
