FAQ

NCYC stands for National Catholic Youth Conference.  It is an exciting biennial, four-day experience of prayer, community, and celebration for Catholic teenagers and their adult chaperones. 

The schedule includes engaging liturgies, general sessions with powerful speakers, workshops with topics relevant to teens and special activities such as concerts, and an interactive exhibit area

Teens entering 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade in the fall of 2023 and adult chaperones. 

Indianapolis, IN, we will be taking charter buses there and back. Large gatherings are usually in Lucas Oil Stadium (home of the Colts), and break-out sessions are at the conference center.

Travel Dates for NCYC 2023: Departure to INDY Wednesday mid morning Nov 15 Time TBD. Departure to home Sat Nov 18 after closing Mass approximately 10pm. 

Group Coordinator Checklist

Each parish in the Archdiocese is unique. Which means your NCYC group is also unique. This document is written with the intention of helping NCYC Group Leaders to discern and plan for how their adults can best be engaged so that the parish’s NCYC experience specifically, and youth ministry generally, can benefit from their involvement.

The Archdiocesan NCYC trip will be November 15-19, 2023The following per-person cost includes hotel, transportation, and event costs.

  • 4 people to a room: $630.00
  • 3 people to a room: $665.00
  • 2 people to a room: $775.00
  • 1 person to a room: $1095.00

Each person will need to bring additional money to cover food and meals.

Deposits are non-refundable.

Once a spot is paid in full, it is non-refundable. If a person is unable to attend due to illness or other reason, that spot may be filled by another student, teen, or chaperone up until the bus departs as long as all forms are filled out.
